Festival Honors Sponsors at Mixer on July 26

The Cypress Chamber of Commerce, in association with Cypress College, will host the annual Cypress Community Festival Mixer at the college from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 26. The mixer, presented by VANS, serves as a prelude to the annual Cypress Community Festival which will be held this year on July 28th at Oak Knoll Park.

What started out as a very small community festival 32 years ago to celebrate the city’s incorporation has turned into Orange County’s largest one-day event. As many as 30,000 area residents attend the admission free event.

Festival attendees are treated to a Kiwanis Club-sponsored pancake breakfast starting at 7:00 a.m. The 5K and 10K Walk/Run begins at 7:30 a.m. There are exhibit booths, arts and crafts, food and games, a classic car show, an award-winning chili cook-off and salsa contest and spectacular entertainment on four stages throughout the day.

Cypress Community Festival sponsors will be honored at the Mixer.
